MOVE WELL. BUILD STRENGTH FOR LIFE.

Dr Roxanne offers a thoughtful and practical approach to women's sports medicine and performance, helping women move confidently through every stage of life.

Her services include:
• Assessment and management of minor injuries
• Return-to-exercise and return-to-sport programmes
• Chronic tendinopathies and overuse injuries
• Exercise prescription for osteopenia and osteoporosis
• Building safe, sustainable exercise programmes
• Supporting women through perimenopause and menopause
• Helping women stay active, strong and injury-free

As oestrogen levels change through perimenopause and menopause, women experience significant changes in muscle, tendon and bone physiology, increasing the risk of tendinopathy, injury and loss of bone density. Roxy is passionate about helping women understand these changes and learn how to exercise safely and effectively through them.

This isn't simply about buying new shoes and going for a run. It's about learning to move well, building strength for life, and developing an exercise programme that complements good nutrition and long-term health.Roxy brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her practice.

She is an accomplished endurance athlete, having completed multiple ultramarathons including the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB), as well as the Noosa Ultra and Ultra-Trail Australia in the Blue Mountains. She is also an avid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai enthusiast, with a deep understanding of the demands that sport places on the body. Her care is practical, evidence-based and individualised, helping patients recover from injury, return to movement and continue doing the activities they love.

WHY WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT

Women are not simply smaller men.

Hormones influence tendon health, muscle recovery, bone density, energy availability and injury risk throughout life.

Many women notice significant changes to recovery, strength and performance during perimenopause and menopause, yet exercise advice often fails to account for these physiological changes.

Understanding these changes allows exercise to become safer, more effective and more sustainable.

So whether you are new to exercise, involved in endurance sports, recovering from injuries or just don't know how to move, we've got you.
