WHY WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT

Women are not simply smaller men.

Hormones influence tendon health, muscle recovery, bone density, energy availability and injury risk throughout life.

Many women notice significant changes to recovery, strength and performance during perimenopause and menopause, yet exercise advice often fails to account for these physiological changes.

Understanding these changes allows exercise to become safer, more effective and more sustainable.

So whether you are new to exercise, involved in endurance sports, recovering from injuries or just don't know how to move, we've got you.

It may be particularly helpful if you:

  • Have osteopenia, osteoporosis or other health considerations affecting exercise

  • Are rebuilding strength and fitness after injury, illness or a prolonged break
  • Want to return to running, endurance sport or higher-level training safely
  • Have a history of repeated injuries or difficulty progressing your training
  • Are navigating perimenopause or menopause and want to protect muscle, bone and long-term physical function
  • Want to become stronger and more active but need an individualised roadmap
  • Have ambitious sporting or exercise goals and want a medically informed approach to reaching them

Medicare rebate may apply if referred by your GP. Possible private health rebates available depending on your own cover.
