Dr Marita Kruger is a compassionate GP with a special interest in women’s health, ADHD and mental health. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, comprehensive care through longer consultations, giving patients the time and space to feel heard, understood and supported.
Marita has a particular interest in the assessment and management of ADHD in women, recognising that many women remain undiagnosed until adulthood. She understands the unique ways ADHD can present across different stages of life, including adolescence, pregnancy, perimenopause and menopause, and takes a holistic approach to assessment, diagnosis and ongoing management.
In addition to ADHD, Marita enjoys supporting women experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout and other mental health concerns. She believes in building trusting therapeutic relationships and works collaboratively with psychologists, psychiatrists and allied health professionals to provide coordinated, evidence-based care.
Marita also provides a broad range of women’s health services, including contraception advice, cervical screening, sexual health, preventative health and general women’s healthcare.
Alongside her medical degree, Dr Kruger completed a Bachelor of Psychology, giving her additional insight into the complex relationship between physical health, mental wellbeing and behaviour. She is committed to empowering women with the knowledge, support and personalised care they need to thrive at every stage of life.
Whether you’re seeking an ADHD assessment, support for your mental health, or comprehensive women’s healthcare, Dr Marita Kruger is dedicated to providing compassionate, considered care tailored to your individual needs
